Exciting things are happening in July!
This summer the KRVA Office is keeping busy planning the 2024-25 Club Volleyball Season. Val's been working with club directors on a new ranking system for the Region. She is also working at USAV Boys and Girls National Championships through July 12th. Neal Kenzakowski has joined the Board of Directors. Jill is working on next season's tournament contests and giveaways.
We're also getting ready for Summer Tryouts. See below for info, details, etc.
June 26 - 29, Boys Junior National Championships is currently taking place! Surge and Prevail have sent the following teams: Surge Boys 16 Black, Prevail Boys 17 Platinum, Surge Boys 18 Black. We're wishing you guys the best!
Between July 3 - 11, Girls ages 14 to 17 will be competing at Girls Junior National Championships. Teams from across our region will travel to Las Vegas, NV to compete against the rest of USA Volleyball's Region teams. Best of luck!
As you know, the 2024 Summer Olympics are happening this summer from July 26 to August 11.
Are you heading to Paris this summer for the Olympics? If so, be sure to reach out and we'll send the first 5 people an official KRVA t-shirt. All we ask is that you take a selfie wearing the shirt while you're at the Olympics and send it to us to share with the Region. Reach out to Jill at staff@krva.org by July 3rd.
Summer Tryouts for Boys and for Girls ages 15 and older take place later this month! More info and information on whether or not you need to purchase a summer tryout membership can be found below.

If you participated in the 2023-2024 club season, your USAV membership is valid through August 31, 2024. There is no need to purchase a Summer Tryout Membership since your current membership is still valid.
If you
DID NOT participate in the 2023-2024 club season and do not have a current, valid USAV membership, you must purchase a Summer Tryout Membership.
Summer Tryout Memberships will be available to purchase after July 1, 2024. The link will be available on our website.
