1922: The Year Pennsylvania Rocked the First Volleyball National Championship
In 1922, the first national championship volleyball tournament was held in Brooklyn, NY and Pennsylvania swept the top four positions. The championship featured 23 teams from 10 states and Canada; 89 games were played.

Summer Loyalty Offers & Tryouts
Loyalty Offers - July 7 - 10, 2025
Loyalty offers may only be sent during these dates. Athletes have 48-hours to respond based on the time stamp on the offer email. All offers and acceptance responses MUST carbon copy (CC) offers@krva.org in order to be valid.
Summer Tryouts - July 18 - 27, 2025
Clubs may offer summer tryouts during the above date window. All athletes must either be:
- A current USAV member in-good-standing*; or,
- Purchase a Summer Tryout Membership**.
* A current 24-25 Season USAV membership is good through August 31, 2025.
** Athletes without a current USAV membership must purchase the Tryout Membership. Tryout Memberships will be available to purchase via https://krva.org beginning July 1, 2025.
